The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie two Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services towards the community.

SASSA might be rendering companies for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency explained it truly is alarmed with regards to the large number of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The aim with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a high variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no absolutely functional office focused on service the area regularly. The service position established for intervention experiences a higher influx of likely beneficiaries, that makes it difficult for the sassa status check office to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise SRD far more assets to permit the servicing of all consumers and boost entry to Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
